The Central Bank of Nigeria in a recent tweet has said all successful applicants that have submitted their account details for the COVID-19 Credit Facility will get their payment in 48 hours’ time.
The Director, Corporate Communications of CBN, Isaac Okorafor disclosed this in a statement on Monday. He, Okorafor, advised all successful candidates whose account are yet to be credited to visit the NIRSAL Microfinance Bank and input their account details.
Okorafor also noted that the CBN had waived the requirements of the provision of guarantors by households and SMEs who have applied for the N50bn funds.
Applicant for this scheme are households and Small and Medium Enterprises, SMEs who were hit by the COVID-19 pandemic, according to CBN.
Any successful applicant who did not receive a credit alert within 48 hours should call for resolution.
