HomeMarketingFaceApp Your Business Strategy

FaceApp Your Business Strategy

There is currently an on-going trend on social media that is buzzing all over the internet right now, and it is called FaceApp Challenge. Just in-case you still don’t know what it is, you probably might have seen “Old and or Young Faces” of your regular celebrity or friend on social media, that is exactly what this is all about.

FaceApp is a photo editing mobile app that is powered by Artificial Intelligence (AI), which gives various photo editing options but the “Aging option” has taking over the internet as this is seen to be used by many on social media.

So much has been talked about the security of using FaceApp but that is not why we are writing this article. The essence of this is the strategic marketing approach that has made it gone viral in a short time and guess what it is..

You would notice that celebrities and influencers actually started with this trend here in Nigeria, the likes of Nedu Wazobia, Williams Uchemba and others, then wahlao, every other persons are inquisitive and followed suite.

Now, it is very much possible that the owners of this app might have paid these influencers to use the app, the point is, that is how powerful influencer marketing can shoot your business awareness.

Tons of people have now downloaded FaceApp, which is available via FaceApp for android and FaceApp for iPhone. The app is known to have premium features which is where this company is making money. The premium features have better editing outcomes and others.

So when next you are planning on creating more awareness on your new or existing product, INFLUENCER MARKETING is one of the recent top-notch marketing strategies that will shoot your product/service awareness in a very short time.

But then, How cheap or expensive is INFLUENCER MARKETING?

Well, it solely depends on the influencer or celebrity in question. I have seen some influencers charged up to N800,000 ($2,300) per influencing and some others, way less, but no doubt, I believe with a good rapport with these people, you can always come down to a good deal that is convenient for both parties.

I must also let you know that before patronising an influencer, check for their engagement. A couple of so called influencers out there have “Ghost followers“, you tend to see a 100,000 followers on their profile with little or no engagement. Be careful of such! Make sure there are loads of comments and video views, you should go as far as also reading a few comments to be sure they are not robotic comments.

Hope you gained a thing or two. Kindly share your thoughts and share with others to benefit.
